Helmuth Robert Duckadam (Romanian articulation: [helˈmut dukaˈdam]; brought into the world 1 April 1959) is a Romanian resigned footballer who played as a goalkeeper and the current leader of FC Steaua București.


He was named “the Hero of Seville” because of his showcase in the 1986 European Cup Final, won by his primary club Steaua București, where he saved each of the four punishments against Barcelona in the punishment shootout, without precedent for football history. He addressed three different groups in a 14-year senior vocation.

Football profession

In 1986, Duckadam endured an uncommon blood problem just a short time after the Seville performance,[4] and would just resume his vocation three years after the fact, completing it with humble Vagonul Arad in the subsequent division.
